Volvo buses Jaipur and Delhi

Volvo buses in the stare commuting between Jaipur and Delhi to get cheaper

News

Volvo bus running between Jaipur and Delhi will reduce the fares by Rs 200 per passenger. The reduction in Volvo’s fares will be implemented from midnight on Tuesday.

According to Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation, Volvo will be charged Rs 700 per passenger instead of existing fare 900 for three days in a week. These fares will come into effect on every Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

The transport will be commuting soon. It is being told that there are currently 43 Volvo operating from both sides between Jaipur-Delhi. About 2000 commuters travel every day.

Officials informed that these new fares will be on trial for the next three months with an aim to get desired results. Once the outcome is good, the scheme will be continued further. This new scheme will come into action by September 1. The scheme will be applicable for all AC, deluxe and semi-deluxe Volvo buses on the route.

The RSRTC officials said this proposal will benefit the travelers in many ways. If a passenger books a ticket 3 to 15 days prior to travel he will get an additional 10% discount on the ticket fares. While those who book tickets ahead of 16 to 30 days of travel date will benefit 20% discount on the fares. Moreover, people booking six or more than six seats will also be provided with a discount.

As per the advice of experts, This is done in order to attract more traffic on these three days. Volvo’s passenger traffic has been steadily decreasing ever since the operation of the double-decker train of North Western Railway. Some of the passengers choose to board private buses instead of RSRTC Volvo on these three days.
