With an objective to establish Rajasthan as a top and ideal place for filmmaking, the government of Rajasthan will unveil a new tourism policy tomorrow at Rajasthan domestic travel mart in Jaipur. The B2B Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart is going to be held from July 22 to July 24 at the Birla Auditorium.

The state would launch the ‘Film Tourism Promotion Policy 2022’ during the inaugural session of the second edition of Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart scheduled to begin on July 22. The three-day B2B travel mart, RDTM, is being organised after a gap of four years and is expected to witness close to 9,000 structured B2B meetings between buyers and sellers.

The new policy will provide an enabling environment along with subsidies and incentives of up to 2 crores for all kinds of films including regional, Bollywood, Hollywood, or OTT. A 360-degree marketing and branding campaign has been started by the state government.

Under this plan, hoardings at prominent airports and railways, in-flight advertising, bloggers, and influencers will be taken in rural areas of Rajasthan, among other initiatives being organised. ‘Rajasthan Calling’ roadshows will also be organised in many cities across the country including Bangalore, Lucknow, Gurugram, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad, among others.

In the Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart 2022, prominent filmmakers along with around 400 domestic tour operators from across the country will participate in the event. The event will give them a chance to network with 200 exhibitors from Rajasthan who will showcase their tourism products like hotels, resorts, amusement parks and others.

RDTM is going to be organized at Hotel Clarks Amer and Birla Auditorium from July 22 to July 24. Chief minister Ashok Gehlot will inaugurate the event at Clarks Amer. On July 23 and 24, Birla Auditorium will host a whopping 9000 B2B meetings between buyers and sellers.

RDTM is being jointly organised by the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan and the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR).

Sharing about the event, Mohan Singh, Secretary General, Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR), the organisers of the 2nd edition of Rajasthan Domestic Tourism Mart (RDTM) cited that they are going to host more than 200 buyers this time and organising four-post tours covering popular and lesser-known destinations for tour operators.
