India’s Best Awards – 2023 was organized by Travel Plus Leisure in Delhi. On this occasion, Rajasthan was awarded the Best Domestic Destination State Award. Sumita Saroch, Joint Director of the State Tourism Department, received this award.
It is noteworthy that India’s Best Awards is presented by Travel Plus Leisure India and South Asia. These awards are given on the basis of voting by readers and travelers. This 12th edition of India’s Best Awards (IBA) was held at ITC Maurya.
Expressing happiness on receiving the Best Domestic Destination State Award in this award ceremony, Director of Tourism Department, Dr. Rashmi Sharma said that this award will be helpful in further promoting the popularity of state tourism. Tourists get to see all dimensions of tourism in Rajasthan. Apart from this, Rajasthan was given awards in eight more categories in different fields.

1. Best Leisure Hotel – Hyatt Regency, Jaipur
2. Best Wedding Destination Hotel – Hotel Fair Mount, Jaipur
3. Best Family Hotel – Hotel Trident, Udaipur
4. Best Luxury Hotel in India – Hotel Raphael, Udaipur
5. Best Luxury Hotels Editor’s Choice – Hotel Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur
6. Best New Hotel and Resort (Domestic Hotels) – Ekaya, Udaipur
7. Best Sustainable Hotel and Resort – Six Sans Fort Barwada
8. Hidden Jam of the Year (Editor’s Find) – The Ananta, Udaipur
