Tata Group’s Rambagh Palace in Jaipur rules as the world’s premier hotel, earning the coveted title from Travellers’ Choice Awards by TripAdvisor. This magnificent palace has been rated best out of 1.5 million hotels. 

Rambagh Palace got recognition as the world’s number one hotel through the annual 2023 Travellers’ Choice Awards by TripAdvisor, a leading travel site. The rankings were discerned based on extensive research of review data from real travelers traversing a 12-month period from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022, covering over 1.5 million hotels worldwide.

Earning over 5,000 five-star reviews, Rambagh Palace is observed for its polo bar, historic suites, and indulgent high tea experiences. Recently, it was also praised as the Best Hotel in India in the Globe Conde Nast Travellers Readers’ Choice Awards 2020, and it secured the 15th position worldwide in the same prestigious awards.

The Ozen Reserve Bolifushi Hotel, located on the Bolifushi island of Maldives, is at the second place in the list, while the Hotel Colin de France, located in Gramado, Brazil, is at the third place. The Rambagh Palace Hotel has also been voted the world’s most luxurious hotel in TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards 2023. The award is given on the basis of comments made by visitors to the website.

Originally built in 1835, this transformed royal palace is known as “The Jewel of Jaipur.” It offers a captivating blend of Indian culture, impeccable service, and spectacular architecture. It epitomizes regal grace and leaves a lasting footmark on discerning travellers.

The palace retains its affluent magnificence, featuring elaborate hand-carved marble ‘jalis’ (latticework), sandstone balustrades, cupolas, ‘chattris’ (cenotaphs), and meticulously created Mughal Gardens. 

Rambagh Palace has greeted admirable guests such as Lord Louis Mountbatten, Prince Charles, and Jacqueline Kennedy. The palace offers 78 exquisitely revived grand luxury rooms and suites, once inhabited by the former Maharaja.
