To keep the hearts of Jaipur residents healthy, a Run for Heart race is being organized on September 22 under the joint aegis of CK Birla Hospital and Decathlon. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness about a healthy heart and highlight the importance of fitness.
On Wednesday, the organizers informed the media about this program. During this, the poster of the race was launched and the T-shirt was revealed. During this, senior cardiac surgeon Dr. Alok Mathur and senior interventional cardiologist Dr. Sanjib Roy and Dr. Amit Gupta said that running is one of the best exercises to keep the heart healthy.
The race will be organized in three categories- 3 km, 5 km and 10 km, so that participants of all age groups can participate according to their ability. The race will start from CK Birla Hospital, pass through Maharani Farm, Shipra Path and from there, pass near a private school, go through Riddhi Siddhi Chauraha and end back at CK Birla Hospital.
In this race, health conscious citizens of the city as well as people from various organizations and institutions will participate. During the event, participants will also be made to do activities like Zumba dance. In the race, runners coming first, second and third in each category will be awarded. Besides, doctors will also give the benefits of running and tips to keep the heart healthy to the general public.
