Monsoon to arrive by June 19-20 in Rajasthan

Pre-monsoon rains have started in Rajasthan. Udaipur, Dungarpur and Banswara also received good rain two days ago. According to meteorologists, this time the conditions are good for the south-west monsoon to advance and it has entered Gujarat beyond Maharashtra.

This time monsoon will enter about three days earlier. Generally, monsoon arrives in the state by June 25. The director of the Meteorological Center of Jaipur said that the monsoon that comes in Rajasthan, enters with the winds coming from the Bay of Bengal i.e. Eastern India.

Monsoon has not been progressing in Northeast India for the last 12 days (since May 31). The situation is not favorable for the monsoon in the next 2-3 days. There is a possibility of a system forming in the Bay of Bengal from June 15 onwards, due to which the slowed-down pace of monsoon may regain momentum.

Monsoon likely to arrive between June 22 and 25

Presently, the monsoon has just entered the southern region of Gujarat and Chhattisgarh. It entered this area 5 days ahead of time. Apart from Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, monsoon has arrived in seven northeastern states. There is a possibility that this time monsoon may arrive in Rajasthan 2 to 3 days before the scheduled time i.e. there is a possibility of monsoon arriving between 22 to 25 June.

Rain will start in East Rajasthan from June 19-20

The normal time of entry of monsoon in Rajasthan is fixed for 25th June. It comes via Udaipur, Banswara. In the year 2023, the monsoon had entered the Udaipur division along with Kota and Bharatpur divisions simultaneously.

At present, pre-monsoon rains have started in the southern parts of Rajasthan. From June 19-20, the period of pre-monsoon rains may also begin in the districts of Eastern Rajasthan i.e. Bharatpur division.

This time too, monsoon will come to Rajasthan from the south-eastern part i.e. Udaipur-Banswara along with Bharatpur and Kota divisions.
