Buying a house in the developed areas of the city will now become even more expensive. Preparations are being made to increase the DLC rates once again this year in Jaipur. There has been no increase in DLC rates for the last five years.
In such a situation, the Printing and Registration Department had instructed the sub-registrars to increase the rates. Proposals for increase will be prepared in sub-registration offices by June 30.
Sub-registrars have started preparing proposals for rate hike. The proposal will be sent to the district collector by June 30. After this, the rates will be approved in the district level committee meeting. After the government’s approval, the increased DLC rates will be issued. DLC rates in Jaipur will increase by 10 to 15 percent. The maximum increase will be done in the developed areas of the city.
It is worth noting that on April 1, the state government had increased the rates by 10 percent. Now the district level committee will increase the rates by 15 percent. In such a situation, the burden of DLC rates on the people will increase by 25 percent.
