7 Big announcements CM made on August 15

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot made a few big announcements for the state on the occasion of Aug 15 at SMS Stadium in Jaipur.

Today, 77th Independence Day is being celebrated across the country with great enthusiasm. State-level Independence Day function was organized in the state at Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot hoisted the flag at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. On this occasion, he made big announcements for the state. 

Extension of the metro corridor in Jaipur

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has expressed his desire to initiate the expansion of the metro corridor. During his previous term, Gehlot introduced Metro phase-1 which was extended from Mansarovar to Badi Chaupar. For this, the foundation stone will be laid in September for the extension of the existing corridor. This extension will encompass the (Badi Chaupar to Transport Nagar) phase I (C) route and the (Mansarovar to Ajmer road) phase I (D) route. To establish connectivity between two vital highways, Ajmer and Agra Road, with the metro rail network, the government will undertake expansion work at both ends, thereby constructing a 4.85km corridor. 

Those who molest women will not get government jobs

Paying attention to women’s safety, Gehlot announced that those who molest women and girls will not get government jobs. For this provisions will be made in the rules. Just like the photographs of history sheeters are posted in the police stations, in the same way, separate records will be kept in the police stations of those who molest women.

Government jobs to the children of those who died in Covid

Government jobs will be given to the children of those who died in Covid for social security. Insurance up to 25 lakhs is available in Chiranjeevi Yojana. 

Ramgarh Dam will be filled with Isarda Dam in ERCP

CM said that Jaipur’s identity Ramgarh Dam will be filled with Isarda Dam under Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP). Rs 1,250 crore will be spent on this. Also, 53 dams in Dausa, Sawai Madhopur, Karauli, Bharatpur and Alwar districts will be connected to ERCP. This will increase the project cost of ERCP by Rs 1665 crore and will benefit 11 lakh farmers in 13 assembly constituencies.

10000 Rs reward to those who take the injured people to the hospital at the right time in road accident

CM Gehlot said – The present Chiranjeevi Jeevan Rakshak Yojana is going on in the state. Through which Rs 5000 and a citation are given to those injured in a road accident who take them to the hospital at the right time. Hundreds of lives have been saved by this scheme. Now I announce to increase the honorarium in this scheme to Rs 10,000 and a similar scheme will also be brought for the people who help the police in case of law and order problem.

Smartphones to about 1 crore more women in the next phase

Under the Indira Gandhi Smartphone Yojana, 40 lakh girls and women were given smartphones in the first phase with the aim of women empowerment and reducing the digital divide in the state. There is great enthusiasm among women regarding this scheme. In the next phase of this scheme, according to the budget announcement, about one crore more women will be given smartphones. For whose guarantee, guarantee cards will be given from August 20. 

Free ration kits to NFSA and non-NFSA families

The CM said that in the currently implemented National Food Security Act (NFSA), the maximum number of beneficiaries has been fixed by the Government of India, due to which many needy families remain deprived of the benefits of NFSA. Now, along with NFSA families, the non-NFSA families who were given financial assistance in Covid, will also be provided free ration kits under the Annapurna Ration Kit scheme.

Today CM will launch Annapurna scheme at Birla Auditorium in Jaipur

Chief minister Ashok Gehlot will launch the free Annapurna Food Packet Scheme on Independence Day to give relief from inflation. The scheme will be launched today at 3:30 pm in Birla Auditorium. Under this scheme, families covered under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) will get Annapurna food packets every month from the ration shop. Under the scheme, one kilo of dal, sugar, and iodized salt, one litre of soybean refined edible oil, 100 grams of chili powder and coriander powder and 50 grams of turmeric powder will be given free of cost to each family. It will be available free of cost from ration shops.
