JDA plans to beautify Jaipur city with a major makeover

Jaipur, the Pink City is not just confined to Hawa Mahal or other forts and palates. Though this city has historical monuments as its major landmarks, Jaipur has much more to offer. The soul of Jaipur lies in the lanes of this city and JDA has planned to make sure to keep the essence alive. 

The augmented Jaipur Development Authority has plans to makeover the entire city and the development work will soon proceed under Pannadhay Nagar Yojna. Moreover, the metro enclave scheme will also be taken forward and fortified.

An executive committee passed various tenders and bids for the expansion of the city in a recently held meeting at the Manthan auditorium of JDA.

The Jaipur makeover proposal

The Jaipur makeover proposal got its approval in a JDA executive committee meeting headed by the Managing Director (MD) of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation and the JDA Commissioner. The Jawahar Circle, Laxmi Mandir, statues of freedom fighters and B-2 bypass junction will be beautified and traffic will be improved. Also, the development and beautification proposal of Raj Bhavan got approval.

The executive committee meeting permitted the undertaking and sustenance of internal works including civil, electrical, light, sound, and fire fighting at Rajasthan international centre, oxygen plant. After fair consideration, authorization was also given for the explicit design, advancement of material, exhibition structure, testing and commissioning of the Mahatma Gandhi museum.

JDA earns many bid proposals

Along with the authorising of the construction work of the Mahatma Gandhi museum, tenders for various other schemes including pannadhay Nagar yojna and the metro enclave scheme were also approved. 

The committee also approved the building of a culvert in the river Dravyavati in Goner and Barkheda village and the undertaking and upkeep of other works of STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) in Sanjharia village. 

Not only the esteemed edifices and prominent landmarks of the city, but the JDA also made an effort for the development of several other tasks in a move to do up Jaipur entirely. However, as of now, an adequate timeline hasn’t been declared.
