Good news for Jaipurites! Their one of the most favorite summer spot, Jal Dhara, may reopen soon. Jal Dhara located on JLN Marg is going to start again from next month. The stream will be open from 7 am to 10 pm in summer.
It has been closed since 2019 due to the damages caused by heavy rains. JDA has decided to start it again after repairing the damage caused by rain. The water body built here was completely destroyed due to the strong flow of water coming from the hills of Jhalana,
According to the JDA Commissioner, Ravi Jain, “Due to heavy rains and subsequent water flow, there was a lot of damage here, after which the wear and tear here has been repaired. About 79 lakh rupees have been spent on this. After getting all the work done, it is likely to start from the first week of April.”
Entry fee will be Rs 15
Visitors will have to pay a fee of Rs 15 to see this beautiful tourist spot amidst nature. Till the year 2019, the visitors coming here had to pay a fee of 10 rupees.
Jaldhara is an artificial water stream built between Smriti Van and Shiksha Sankul on the route of JLN Marg in Jaipur city. It is an amazing water theme park boasting of nature. It is located. This beautiful spot has a 40 feet high wellspring that is surrounded by lush green trees and artificial rocks. Visitors will again get to see artificial water bodies, fountains, waterfalls and other things.
