Jaipur police arrested 3 culprits for cheating people on OLX

Three members of a gang arrested by the police of Vidhyadhar Nagar for cheating people by selling inexpensive mobile phones and investing money in counterfeit currency notes on OLX. The gang cheated many people on OLX.

The accused men were identified as Pankaj Sharma, Krishna, and Sahil Khan. Pankaj belongs to Jhunjhunu, Krishna to Vidhyadhar Nagar in Jaipur, while Sahil is resident of Lalsot in Dausa.

The investigation revealed that the superiors of the gang, Sooraj and Akash collected money fraudulently and used to deposit in Pankaj’s bank account through Paytm and gave him a commission in return. The gang members then withdrew money from Pankaj’s bank account and spent on parties. Over the past two years, the gang cheated people of Rs 30 lakh.

Many victims registered complaints against the gang in the police station which made the police suspicious for the gang. The prime members of the gang, Sooraj and Akash, have already been arrested.
