The Jaipur Bird Festival 2025, organized by the esteemed Green People Society (Jaipur Chapter), is set to captivate bird lovers, students, and nature enthusiasts alike. Scheduled to take place on Saturday, 1st February 2025, at the picturesque Kanota Camp Resorts near Jamdoli, Jaipur, the festival promises a day brimming with engaging activities and educational sessions.

Festival Highlights2

  • Morning Session (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM): Around 500 students and participants will kick off the festivities with activities such as bird spotting under expert guidance, drawing, painting, and quizzes.
  • Post-lunch Session (2:00 PM to 5:00 PM): Attendees can participate in a wetlands conference, which will feature eminent experts and insightful discussions on bird habitats and conservation efforts.
  • Field Visit (Sunday, 2nd February 2025): To celebrate World Wetlands Day, participants will embark on a field visit to nearby wetlands, including Barkheda-Chandlai-Muhana, Sambhar Salt Lake, Keoladeo National Park Bharatpur, and Tal Chhapar in Churu.

Workshops and Exhibitions

Visitors will have the opportunity to attend a variety of workshops on wetlands and bird habitats, distributed by Early Bird organization from Bengaluru. Additionally, exhibitions will showcase bird habitats, stamps, and photographs, providing a visually stimulating experience for all attendees1.

Expert Participation

The festival will see contributions from renowned ornithologists such as Asad Rahmani, WWF Chief Ravi Singh, and MK Ranjit Singh from Gujarat. Their expertise will enrich the festival’s discussions and workshops, creating an informative environment for all attendees1.
