US Vice President JD Vance is set to visit Jaipur as part of his official tour to India and Italy from April 18 to April 24. This marks his first visit to India since assuming office. Accompanied by his wife, Usha Vance, and their three children, the Vice President’s itinerary includes stops in New Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra.
During his visit, Vice President Vance will hold discussions with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 21. The agenda is expected to cover shared economic and geopolitical priorities, including ongoing trade negotiations between the two nations.
In Jaipur, the Vice President and his family are anticipated to explore cultural landmarks such as the Amer Fort and Palace. A team from the US Embassy has already assessed security arrangements at these sites.
This visit underscores the strengthening ties between India and the United States, with both nations working towards resolving trade tariffs and enhancing bilateral cooperation.
