The Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms and rain in the state during October 15-17 due to the influence of an active western disturbance. The impact of this active western disturbance will be more visible in the districts of Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Jaipur and Bharatpur.
After the rain from October 15, the cold will start increasing. Due to the activation of a new western disturbance, there is a possibility of isolated light rain and thundershowers along with thundershowers in the afternoon in the western, northern and eastern parts of the state on October 15. Then thunderstorm activities are likely to increase on October 16 and there is a possibility of thunderstorms and light to moderate rain in some parts of Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Jaipur and Bharatpur districts.
As per the latest update of the Meteorological Department, there is also a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in Bikaner, Churu and Hanumangarh districts. Light rain activities along with thunderstorms are likely to continue in Jodhpur, Udaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Jaipur and Bharatpur districts on October 17 and the weather is likely to remain mainly dry on October 18.
There is a possibility of relatively strong winds at a speed of 20-25 km per hour during October 14-15 in the areas of Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions. Due to the effect of rain, there is a possibility of a slight drop in the temperature from October 17.
