Heatwave alert in Rajasthan from May 7 to 10

Now the heat in Rajasthan has increased even at night. The temperature with most places recording maximum temperatures above 40 to 42 degrees Celsius. According to weather experts, there is a possibility of heat and heat waves in the western parts of Rajasthan for the next few days from tomorrow.

As per the Jaipur Meteorological Centre, In the next 48 hours, in most parts of Rajasthan, the average temperature will increase by 2-4 degrees. The temperature will be 44-45 °C. There is a possibility of heatwaves and loo. From May 7 to 10, there will be a heatwave and IMD Jaipur has issued a yellow alert.

The temperature increased in Jaipur

In the capital Jaipur, the sky has been cloudy since morning. Here the maximum temperature has been recorded above 40 degrees for the last 2 days. The maximum temperature recorded in Jaipur on Monday was 41.2 degrees Celsius. Along with the intense heat during the day, the heat remained intense at night also. 

For the first time this season, the city’s maximum temperature went beyond 40°C. In the afternoon, roads wore an empty look as people were confined to their offices and homes. Outlets and cafes selling cold beverages saw a good number of customers during the day.

There will be intense heat in these cities from tomorrow

Weather Center Jaipur has issued a heat wave alert in Alwar, Bharatpur, Dausa, Dholpur, Jhunjhunu, Karauli apart from Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Bikaner, Churu, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Barmer on May 8. Due to this, the temperature is likely to increase by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius.

On May 9, apart from Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Bikaner, Churu, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, and Barmer of western Rajasthan, there is also a possibility of a heat wave in Kota, Baran, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Alwar, Jhunjhunu, Banswara.
