To promote women’s education in Rajasthan, Azim Premji Foundation has decided to give scholarships to girls students. The Higher Education Department has issued guidelines regarding this. The girls studying for higher education in Rajasthan will be given a scholarship of Rs 30 thousand every year. For this they will be able to apply from the second week of September.
Azim Premji Scholarship Program has been started by Azim Premji Foundation to promote women’s education in Rajasthan. Under this, students pursuing higher education in 22 districts of the state will be given annual scholarships. In this scholarship program, not only the government but also students studying in private colleges and universities will be able to apply.
According to the officials of Azim Premji Foundation, “There are many such students who are not able to pursue higher education due to weak economic conditions and social customs. In such a situation, to help all these, a scholarship program has been started to promote women’s education. With the help of the Rajasthan Government, we will give scholarships to more and more students so that they can bring glory to their family and country by getting higher education.”
Scholarship will be available in these districts of Rajasthan
Azim Premji Scholarship started by Azim Premji Foundation, is currently available in Ajmer, Alwar, Balotra, Banswara, Baran, Barmer, Chittorgarh, Gattu, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jaipur (Rural), Rajasthan. It will be given only in Jalore, Jhalawar, Jodhpur, Kekri, Pali, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sirohi, Tonk and Udaipur districts.

Students who have passed 10th and 12th from government schools in Rajasthan will be able to apply for the Azim Premji Scholarship Program. However, she can also study in private colleges and universities for higher education.
