The Congress party is set to launch its ‘Save Constitution’ campaign with a state-level rally in Jaipur on April 28. The campaign aims to highlight concerns regarding alleged threats to democracy and constitutional values.
Rajasthan Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra announced that the rally will be attended by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, who will address a gathering of around 2,200 divisional presidents. A preparatory meeting is scheduled at the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee headquarters on April 24 to finalize arrangements.
The campaign will unfold in multiple phases:
- April 28: State-level rally in Jaipur.
- May 3-10: District-level rallies across Rajasthan.
- May 11-17: Assembly-level programs.
- May 20-30: Booth-level door-to-door outreach.
Congress leaders claim the campaign is a response to alleged misuse of investigative agencies and efforts to silence opposition voices. The party intends to engage directly with citizens to discuss concerns about democratic institutions.
