Good news for devotees who wish to visit Vaishno Devi from Jaipur! Now reaching Vaishno Devi would be easy as Rajasthan Roadways has started a bus service from Jaipur to Katra. Daily there will be a bus scheduled to reach Katra from the Jaipur bus stand.
This initiative of Rajasthan Roadways has benefitted those who look for an affordable transport option to reach Jammu. The ticket prices for the bus from Jaipur to Katra are kept reasonable. The charges are fixed at just Rs. 1085 per passenger.
According to the Chairman and Managing Director of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation, Sandeep Verma, the Roadways Management is constantly trying to provide more affordable buses to the people of Rajasthan, so that they have easy access to various places of the country.
Scheduled Route and timings of the bus
Rajasthan roadways have issued an official schedule for the route of the bus. This bus service started from 6th July. The bus will follow the Delhi-Jalandhar route. Therefore, it will benefit all the passengers who want to travel to Katra from Delhi, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, or Jammu.
The devotees will get the bus from Sindhi Camp Bus Stand, Jaipur. The timings and route of the bus have been scheduled. The bus will start at 6:17 am from Jaipur every day and will reach Katra the next day at 4 am. On the return, the bus will leave from Katra at 12:40 pm and will reach Jaipur the next day at 10 am, following the same route.
As per the schedule, the bus will be leaving from Jaipur at 6:17 am, reaching Delhi at 1:15 pm, Ludhiana at 7:15 pm, Jalandhar at 10:10 pm, and Jammu at about 3 pm, and Katra at 4 am.
