A nationwide Bharat Bandh has been announced on 21 August in protest against the Supreme Court decision on reservation. In view of this, the police and administration are on alert mode. Everything will remain closed from 6 am to 8 pm except medical services, police and fire services.
The SC-ST Joint Struggle Committee has called for a Bharat Bandh in response to the Supreme Court’s recent ruling to exclude the “creamy layer” from the SC/ST quota.
Rajasthan Police has asked the SPs of all the districts to ensure that the bandh is conducted peacefully in collaboration with local SC/ST organizations. The SC/ST groups of Rajasthan have supported the nationwide ‘Bharat Bandh’.
Advisory issued for general public
Everything will remain closed from 6 am to 8 pm except medical services, police and fire services.
There is no permission for the general public to step out of their homes, please maintain peace. Only Bhim Sainiks will come out of their homes and keep an eye on the Bharat Bandh.
Mall, shop, office, street vendor, track, bank, ATM, market, market, market, factory, company, workshop, tourist places etc. will all remain closed, servants will remain on leave.
No government or private bus, rail, metro train etc., private vehicle, Commercial vehicles, taxis, autos etc. will all remain closed.
Big or small transport, trucks, trolleys, goods vehicles, goods trains, home delivery, milk, Fruits, vegetables, etc. will all remain closed, and there will be complete traffic jams.
All Schools, Colleges, Universities, Petrol Pumps, CNG Pumps, LPG Godowns Pumps etc. will remain closed. Even lawyers will not work.
The whole of India will be blue for a day, please do not create disturbance.
Troops of Bhim soldiers will shut down India. Please do not disturb the order.
Keep your food items safe in advance, everything will be closed.
The District Collector will personally come on the road to collect the demand letter.
Police administration should maintain law and order and cooperate.
