The vaccination drive started at 14 centres in Jaipur. The state government and health department decided to hold on to the vaccination drive to 3 districts only due to the unavailability of doses.
The claim of starting vaccinations in 11 districts of Rajasthan for the age group of 18 to 45 did not accomplish. Earlier, it was announced to start in 11 districts, but only 3 districts got vaccination doses on the first day.
