What is the darshan facility in the temple?
- The distance of the temple from the main entrance of the complex is about 200 meters.
- There are 14 lines for darshan. Devotees can reach Baba’s sanctum sanctorum through these lines. There are two big grounds for those coming for padayatra, Charan Ground and Lakhdatar Ground.
- If the crowd is normal, the devotees will move forward from Lakhdatar Ground only through the first four lines. A concrete dome has been built at Lakhdatar Ground to protect the devotees from the sun.
- If the crowd increases, the other lines will be opened and the devotees will be diverted towards Charan Ground before Lakhdatar Ground.
- You will be able to see Baba from a distance of 15 feet in the sanctum sanctorum.

When do the doors of the temple open?
The doors of the Khatu Shyam Mela remain open 24 hours from 5.30 am to 10 pm on normal days.
Is there any facility for VIP darshan?
There is no arrangement of VIP darshan by the Shri Shyam Mandir Committee nor is there any provision for any offline pass.
What Prasad will be available in the temple?
- Gram flour barfi is offered in Baal Bhog. Churma is offered in Savamani Prasad.
- Prasad is not given in the temple. It will be given at the time of exit.

Can I take Prasad to offer in the temple?
You cannot carry any other thing except flower garland, peacock stick, ink bottle, prasad or makeup. Boxes have been installed in the temple premises itself. These can be offered in those boxes only in the name of Baba.
What is air connectivity?
Currently 22 domestic and 4 international flights are operating from Jaipur Airport near Khatushyamji. There is connectivity with 22 big cities of the country like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Ayodhya etc.

Apart from these, about 52 trains are also operating in a week. Three special trains have also been started during the fair. From Rewari to Ringas, number 09637, from Ajmer (Madar) to Ringas is number 09649 and the third train is number 09633, Jaipur-Narnaul.
How is Road Connectivity?
Khatu Shyam Ji is connected from highways of all major cities. Khatu Shyam Mela is located at Jaipur-Bikaner Highway. One can go to Khatushyamji directly after reaching Ringas Sikar. When going from a vehicle, you can go straight to Khatushyamji through the Manda turn.

What is bus connectivity?
- There are direct buses to Khatu from Delhi, Gurugram, Dehradun, Hisar, Chandigarh, Faridabad and many other big cities.
- After coming to Jaipur first, you can also go to Khatu by bus.
- Direct buses to Khatu from Sindhi Camp Bus Stand, Jaipur are available every 10 minutes during the fair.
Where will the trek start? What is the route?
- The trek to Shyam Baba starts from Ringas.
- The distance till Khatu Shyam Mela is 18 km, the route will be reserved for pedestrians.
- If you are hiking then you can get down from Ringas and go straight.
- If you are coming by vehicle then you will have to go to Manda turn. This route will remain one-way. It will reach the parking place from Hanumanpura village.
- After darshan, you will go on the highway via Palsana bypass, this route is also one-way.
What are the charges for parking?
- There is provision for free parking in 52 acres. There are many government grounds nearby where parking is free.
- Many people have made parking in the fields towards the temple, there is a fee there.
Hotels to stay in Khatu?
There are many big hotels and luxury dharamshalas for staying around the temple of Khatushyamji. At present, there are about 20 hotels, 400 guest houses, and 600 Dharamshala.

Important places associated with Baba Shyam in Khatu
Toran Gate: There is an archway built before going to the temple. Devotees stop by and take selfies at the Torana gate. After resting for some time, they move ahead.
Shyam Kund: The statue of Shyam Baba that has been installed in the temple came from Shyam Kund. When Baba’s head was found in the Shyam Kund, it was placed in the temple. In view of the crowd in the fair, Shyam Kund is kept closed.
Jeen Mata: The distance of Jeen Mata from Khatushyamji is about 30 km.
Salasar Balaji Temple: About 100 kms from Khatushyamji, Salasar Balaji Dham is in Churu district.
Major festivals of Baba Shyam throughout the year
Ekadashi of every month: Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of every month is auspicious and have special significance of worship. A large number of devotees come on this day.
Baba’s birthday celebration: The celebration of Baba Shyam’s birth anniversary is on Ekadashi of Kartik Shukla Paksha. Lakhs of devotees arrive to celebrate the birth anniversary.
Lakhi Fair: Baba Shyam’s Lakhi fair falls in Phalgun. The fair goes on for about 10 days, during which 25 to 30 lakh devotees arrive from all over the country.
Every Saturday and Sunday: Devotees especially come for darshan on every Saturday and Sunday. Around 5 lakh devotees visit.
New year: Even on 31st December and 1st January, a large number of people reach Baba Shyam’s court to pray.
