He made the announcement of the electric highway while reviewing the largest expressway in the world being built between Delhi and Mumbai. The Greenfield Expressway is 1350 km long and through this, the distance between Delhi to Jaipur will be completed in just 2 hours. According to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), by next March, the Sohna elevated road which is currently under construction and the Sohna-Dausa stretch of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will hopefully be completed and be signal-free for commuters. This will reduce the travel time between Delhi and Jaipur.
