More than 6 schools in Jaipur received bomb threats via email on Monday. Students and staff members have been evacuated. Police teams, along with bomb and dog squads, have reached the schools. The cyber cell team is busy tracing the sender of the email.
The first reported threat came up at MPS School located in Moti Dungri in the mail at 6 am on Monday. After this, threats were received to blow up schools located at MPS, Manak Chowk, Vidyadhar Nagar, Vaishali Nagar, Niwaru Road in Bagru. As soon as such information was received, the police swung into action and different teams were dispatched.
Multiple schools were on alert after an unidentified individual sent emails to school principals warning of explosives within the school buildings. Police have become active after bomb threats targeting schools in Jaipur.

Threat to blow up schools on the anniversary of Jaipur
The threat to bomb schools in Jaipur has come at a time when today is the 16th anniversary of the serial bomb blasts that took place in the capital in 2008.
