Jaipur will now be known worldwide for its wildlife safari. After leopard, elephant and lion safari, now tiger safari is going to start in Jaipur. On Monday, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will start the tiger safari in Nahargarh Biological Park. After this, tourists will be able to easily see tigers in the forests of Nahargarh.

Now from Monday (7 October) the general public will be able to enjoy the tiger safari. During this, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, UDH Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra and Forest Minister Sanjay Sharma will be present in the inauguration program.

Tiger and tigress brought from Nagpur

A tiger and a tigress have been brought from Nagpur and released in Nahargarh Biological Park. Preparations are being made to release another pair in the safari soon. At present, the proposed ticket (fee) for the tiger safari has been fixed at Rs 200 per person. It will be officially released after getting approval from the forest department. Now, tourists who are interested in seeing the tiger up close will now be able to see the tiger in Jaipur before going to Ranthambore.

Wildlife Week has started in Rajasthan and Jaipur from October 2. Also, it is the festival month and the start of tourist season attracting a large number of tourists. Given this, with the start of tiger safari soon, tourists are getting a new destination to visit. This will not only increase the revenue of the government but the local businessmen and hotel operators of Jaipur will also benefit from this.

The Tiger Safari in Nahargarh Biological Park has been built at a cost of Rs. 4.5 crores. Fencing, outer track and guard room have been built in the Tiger Safari. Water points and 10 shelters have been built. Two Safari tracks in the shape of 8 have been built in the Tiger Safari. Here tourists will be able to see tigers sitting in vehicles of four types. This will be the 5th wildlife safari in Jaipur. Before this, 2 leopard safaris, one lion safari and one elephant safari are being operated in Jaipur.
