Sacred journey of Hajj to begin from 21 May

Haj journey to begin from May 21 to June 6, flights will go to Madina from Jaipur Airport Terminal-1, About 6800 people of the state will go on Hajj.

Haj Committee and Jaipur Airport Administration have finalized the schedule of Haj flights. The journey to the holy pilgrimage of Hajj will begin on May 21. There will be 27 flights from May 21 to June 6 operating from Jaipur. About 6800 people of the state will go on Hajj. 

Now that the construction work of Terminal-1 at Sanganer has been completed, Haj flights will be operated from here. Custom and immigration counters will also start here. Running Haj flights from Terminal-1 will not affect the regular flights of the airport. 

Flights from Jaipur instead of Delhi 

In the year 2020, where the journey of Hajj could not be possible due to the ban on international flights during Covid. Whereas, for the last 2 years, Haj flights were operating from Delhi instead of Jaipur. Due to the limited quota in these too, fewer people of the state were getting a chance to travel. But now after 3 years, Haj flights will again operate from Jaipur airport only. 

The Haj Committee has coordinated with the airport administration and the airline for this. The Haj flights will be operated by the Air India airline of the Tata Group. This time 

Air India’s Haj flight will not go to Jeddah. Haj flights will go directly to Madina, whereas earlier these flights used to go to Jeddah.

All return flights will come from Jeddah to Jaipur

From May 21 to 27, one flight will go to Madina daily.
From May 28 to June 6, 2 flights will fly daily.
From May 21, flight AI-5401 will depart from Jaipur at 11 am daily, which will reach Madinah at 1:55 pm. From May 28, flight AI-5403 will leave Jaipur at 9:35 am daily and reach Madinah at 12:45 pm.

A total of 27 flights will fly through two aircraft. Whereas, return flights from Haj will operate from July 3 to 24.
