The Department of Peace and Non-Violence organized the Mahatma Gandhi Seva Preraks Recruitment in Rajasthan. In this, applications were invited for recruitment to a total of 50,000 posts. The online applications started from 16th August 2023 which were filled till 29th August 2023. A large number of students have participated in this recruitment.

Mahatma Gandhi Seva Prerak recruitment is a unique initiative of the Rajasthan government to promote peace and non-violence in the state. The candidates who are selected as MGSPs will receive a monthly honorarium of Rs. 4500. The MGSPs will work at the gram panchayat and urban ward level and will be supervised by a committee headed by the sub-divisional officer. Mahatma Gandhi Seva Prerak will be responsible for running the Mahatma Gandhi Library and Constitution Centers and informing the people about the welfare schemes of the government.
