Under the summer schedule of Jaipur Airport, a proposal has been made by the companies to start operating five domestic and three international flights from March 31. Under this, Indigo Airlines will start flights from Jaipur Airport to Amritsar, Ayodhya, Vadodara. Among these, IndiGo has proposed to run Amritsar flight daily, Ayodhya flight 4 days a week and Vadodara flight daily to Jaipur Airport.
Similarly, Air India Express has asked to operate a Guwahati flight daily. Whereas Alliance Air is preparing to start daily flights to Chandigarh. Now Jaipur Airport will release the schedule based on these proposals.
3 new international flights will start from Jaipur Airport in the summer schedule. Among these, AirAsia Berhad has proposed to start new flights to Kuala Lumpur, Air India Express to Bangkok and Etihad Airways to Abu Dhabi.
Decision taken to increase flight frequency
With the launch of five domestic and three new international flights in the summer schedule, airline companies have decided to increase the frequency of flights. Among these, Indigo Airlines has proposed to increase the number of flights to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh and Lucknow. Also, Alliance Air has announced plans to start 5 additional flights to New Delhi.
Similarly, Air Asia has proposed to start three additional flights to Mumbai, Air India Express has proposed to start seven additional flights to Bengaluru and 12 additional flights to Kolkata. Whereas Spice Jet has prepared a plan to increase the number of new flights to Ahmedabad, Ayodhya and Delhi.
Flights were started earlier also, but had to be stopped
However, the kind of claims are being made regarding the summer schedule at Jaipur Airport. Some similar claims were also made regarding the winter schedule. But in reality the claims did not materialize. Airlines companies had started by announcing the launch of flights to new cities. But after a few days the flight was suddenly stopped. Something similar happened with the Ayodhya flight started by SpiceJet. Because after flying for a few days, flight operations were canceled for most of the days.
The schedule for flight operations at the airport is applicable twice a year, in winter and summer. Flights also start on new routes in every schedule. Whereas flight operations on some old routes are stopped. Summer schedule is also going to start at Jaipur Airport from 31st March. With the operation of new flights from Jaipur Airport, the airline companies have also announced to increase the frequency of flights. After this, the number of flights flying from Jaipur airport will increase from 64 to 70.
Currently 22 domestic and four international flights from Jaipur airport are being operated. which directly connects 22 different cities of the states from India to Jaipur. These are Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Ayodhya including other 22 cities. While four flights go to different cities of the world from Jaipur. These include flights to Dubai, Bangkok, Muscat and Sharjah. Due to this, there are 120 flights per day of traffic movement at Jaipur airport.
