Neeraj had been on vacation in Kashmir with his wife, Ayushi, after attending a wedding in Shimla. The couple, married just two months ago in February, was enjoying their trip when terrorists struck in the Baisaran Valley. While Ayushi survived the attack, Neeraj was killed in the violence. The news devastated his family in Model Town, Jaipur, where his mother, Jyoti Udhwani, has been inconsolable.
The body was first airlifted to Delhi and then transported to Jaipur. Friends, relatives, and local leaders have come together to support the grieving family. The cremation is set to take place on April 24, with many expected to attend to pay their last respects.
The Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 lives, has sparked outrage across the country. Security has been tightened in Jaipur and other major cities to prevent further incidents.
