Bollywood’s biggest award function is going to be held in Jaipur. Next year the IIFA show will be held in the Pink City for three days. This will be the first time when this event is being held in a city other than Mumbai in India. So, Jaipur will be the first city after Mumbai to host the event.
According to sources, the government has also signed an MoU with the IIFA Award organizers for this show. This time, on the initiative of Rajasthan Government, preparations are being made to organize this event on a large scale.
This award show will be organized from 7th to 9th March at Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center in Sitapura. It is noteworthy that this year this event is being held in Abu Dhabi which will be hosted by Shahrukh Khan. After this the 25th awards show will be organized in Rajasthan. It is being claimed that this will be the biggest award function to be held in India.
Preparation to book all the big hotels of Jaipur
All the big hotels of Jaipur are already being booked for the awards show. IIFA team is in Jaipur for the last few days. It is being said that STJ Global Entertainment Company will take the help of the Tourism Department for this show. Approval of about Rs 60 crore will be taken from the Finance Department for this event.
IIFA was started 24 years ago in the year 2000 at the beginning of the new century in the city of London. The IIFA Awards show has traveled to 17 beautiful cities so far. This has been happening in Yas Island and Abu Dhabi for a few years.
Rajasthan will benefit at the international level
Organizing IIFA in Jaipur is going to be beneficial from the point of view of tourism and industry. Where the arrival of famous celebrities will increase the demand for domestic and international tourists. At the same time, the doors of Jaipur will open for international events. Before this, only the Jaipur Literature Festival was being held here on a large scale. People from all over the world will arrive to participate in this event. For this, the demand for everything from hotels to flights to domestic activities is going to increase.
The show was to be held in Indore four years ago
In 2020, the IIFA Awards show was scheduled to be held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, but the then state government fell around the dates of the awards show. All the preparations for the show were completed, but due to the change in government, the show could not be held in Indore.
IIFA Awards Show has been held in 13 countries so far: London (United Kingdom), South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore, Netherlands, Dubai, Bangkok (Thailand), China, Sri Lanka, Canada, Florida (America), Spain, New York ( It has been organized in America). Held in Mumbai for the first time in 2019. After this, from 2022 it is happening on Yash Island in Dubai. Its 24th edition is being held at Yash Island in Dubai on 28th September this year, which is going to be hosted by Shahrukh Khan.
