Train passengers to get puri and curry and pickle at just Rs 20 at by a new system started by IRCTC atp Jaipur Junction in long distance trains

Railways has started a new system for passengers traveling in general coaches in long distance trains. Railways has started a system of providing food for Rs 20 to the passengers of these coaches. In this, 7 puris, potato curry and pickle will be available. 

Apart from this, a glass of 200 ml water will also be available for Rs 3. On behalf of this system, North Western Railway has started from Jaipur Junction and soon it will be started at other stations of Jaipur Division as well.

According to the Senior DCM Mukesh Saini, “instructions have been received to make arrangements for food and drinking water at cheap rates for the passengers of general coaches of the railway, implementing which, this facility has been started at Jaipur Junction from today. This facility has been started through IRCTC and soon it will be started at other stations as well.”

He added that under the new system, counters of Janata Khana will be set up on the platforms of railway stations. From where passengers will be able to buy food and drinking water. DRM Narendra told that two different categories of food have been made, under which 7 pooris (175 grams), dry potato vegetable (150 grams) and pickle (12 grams) will be made available in paper boxes for Rs 20. .

Similarly, the combo meal for Rs 50 will have regional dishes. In this, you can take anything from Rajma or small rice, Khichdi, Kulche Chole, Chole-Bhature, Pavbhaji and Masala Dosa, which will weigh 350 grams. Apart from this, 200 mm packaged sealed glasses will be available for the passengers, whose price has been kept at Rs 3.
