International Museum soon to be open for tourists in Jaipur

The state government will spend 90 crores to prepare an international museum in Jaipur at the old Legislative Assembly of Rajasthan.

Jaipur will soon have an International museum that is going to become a center of attraction to promote tourism in the state. The old Legislative Assembly at Jaipur is being made an international museum by the state government at a cost of more than Rs 90 crore. This international museum will soon be inaugurated by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

In this international museum, tourists will get a chance to get acquainted with the Amer Kachhawa dynasty, various artifacts, art cultures and other antiquities. The design and construction work of the International Museum is being prepared by the Amer Development and Management Authority. 

International museum will become a center of tourist attraction

Apart from Jaipur’s fort and palaces, the International Museum is going to be made a center of attraction to introduce new tourism. Various antiquities of the state will be collected and displayed in this museum. The old assembly on Amer Road is being prepared for the International Museum. 

For this, the state government is making a tourism corridor to introduce tourists to antiquities and fort-palaces. Hawamahal, Jantar-Mantar and Ishwarlat, Jalmahal, Nahargarh Fort and Amer Fort, Jagat Shiromani Temple, Panna Meena Kund, Chhatris and Baodis where tourists visit are near the International Museum. 

Never seen these antiquities will be showcased 

The old assembly of Rajasthan is being prepared as an international museum in two storeys. 20 galleries are being built in the two storeys of this museum. Years old history and various antiques will be displayed in these galleries. About 8 galleries related to Jaipur will be the center of tourist attraction in the International Museum, including the Kachhawa dynasty of Amer, the city of 9 chowkids of Jaipur, folk music, dance of Jaipur, creation of Jaipur, 19th Jaipur’s royal ride, gallery of 36 factories.

Apart from this, there is a plan to install a replica of the second largest painting from the Kolkata Museum. A Rajasthan gallery will also be made in which the fort and city gallery, geographical environment, handicrafts, festivals and customs of Rajasthan, 9 cultural areas, traditional water management and garden-garden gallery will be prominent. Along with prehistoric, sculpture, petting, coins, a gallery of old weapons will be made. 

Antiques of these areas of the state are included 

The ancient materials to be displayed in the International Museum in the Old Legislative Assembly of Rajasthan are being brought from the monuments and museums under the Department of Archeology. 

Under this, antiques for various galleries are being brought from Government Museum Albert Hall, Hawa Mahal Memorial, Jantar Mantar Memorial, Government Museum Alwar, Bharatpur, Jodhpur, Pali, Bikaner, Udaipur, Government Museum Ahdu, Chittorgarh, Kota, and Excavation Branch and Currency Branch in Jaipur.
