The journey from Jaipur to Delhi will soon be completed in two hours. In a move to make distance shorter, the Government is all set to bring electric cable highways on the route. Also, its fare will be 30% less than a diesel bus.

Electric Cable highways are the smart way to make the roads energy-efficient. It helps the moving vehicles to provide electric energy, using overhead power lines. The move will benefit electric vehicle users, providing the electric energy to the battery while running on the e-highways.

According to Union Road and Transport Minister, Nitin Gadkari, “Centre’s plan to develop electric cable highways between Jaipur-Delhi is an aim to eliminate hunger, poverty and unemployment in the country. With an electric cable highway, you can sit in business class and reach Delhi in two hours.”

“I have got the opportunity to visit many areas of Rajasthan. I am very happy to see the enthusiasm of the people. I have full confidence that Diya Kumari is going to win and the Bharatiya Janata Party will get the majority in Rajasthan,” he added.

He further added that, “Earlier the journey from Delhi to Meerut in 45 minutes, was a matter of laughter. Today, people come from Meerut to Delhi to eat ice cream. I want to bring the people of Jaipur to eat Delhi’s ice cream and the people of Delhi to eat Jaipur’s Kachori. This has become possible as the people of the country gave full majority to the Bharatiya Janata Party.”

Gadkari made the statement in Jaipur while attending a mass in support of Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, the BJP candidate from the Jhotwara Assembly constituency in Rajasthan. He also visited Vidyadhar Nagar assembly constituency to conduct a roadshow for Diya Kumari.
