News

Jaipur police has been upgrading its technologies over time and now high resolution drone cameras are being used to improve the traffic system. Till now, while policemen used to monitor traffic, now there will be surveillance from the sky like an eagle. Drone cameras will monitor from the sky and issue challans against motorists violating traffic rules.

Use of drone cameras in traffic system

Earlier, drone cameras were used only to maintain law and order, but now the traffic police in Jaipur have started using them to improve the traffic system as well. Drone cameras are keeping an eye on traffic jams on city roads, vehicles parked in no parking and drivers who break traffic signals. The special thing is that drone cameras can clearly capture vehicle number plates even from 5 kilometers away, so that strict action can be taken against rule breakers.

Drone cameras with advanced technology

The Jaipur police have started controlling drone cameras from the traffic control room, which are delivering direct images of roads within a radius of 5 kilometers to the police. These indigenous drones are capable of flying up to an altitude of 1500 feet and can work for an hour without stopping. The price of this drone is about Rs 25 lakh and it has a 27x high resolution camera, so that even distant things can be seen clearly. This drone automatically returns to the drop point in case of a technical problem.

Action will be taken on violation of these rules

Vehicles violating traffic rules will be fined based on images taken from drone cameras. Along with this, action will also be taken on vehicles parked in no parking. At the same time, the functioning of the policemen will also be monitored by drone cameras so that the traffic system can be improved. The police department is monitoring the roads of the entire city with the help of drones so that traffic problems can be solved.

Use of drone cameras under pilot project

At present, this scheme has been launched under a pilot project in Jaipur, where the traffic police is using drone cameras in collaboration with a private company. If the project is successful, a proposal will be sent to the government for its implementation on a large scale. In the coming time, drone cameras can play an important role in improving the deteriorated traffic system of Jaipur, making it a powerful weapon for the traffic police.
