What is an Ayushman card?
The Chiranjeevi scheme run by the former Congress Chief Minister in Rajasthan has now been discontinued in Rajasthan. In place of this scheme, the Ayushman Bharat Health Card scheme run by the Bharatiya Janata Party government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be implemented. So now treatment under Chiranjeevi scheme has been stopped in all hospitals and Ayushman Bharat health card has been made mandatory for medical insurance.
After the closure of Chiranjeevi Yojana in Rajasthan, every citizen of the state should have Ayushman Bharat Health Card. With this Ayushman Card, weak and needy households will get Health and medical benefits up to Rs 5 lac per person annually for free in the entire country. That is, Ayushman Health Card will help in medical or health related expenses or it is a medical and health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh i.e. the card will provide free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh.

- In Rajasthan, families registered under this scheme will have the facility of free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in any government or private hospital selected under the scheme across the country.

Who is eligible for Ayushman Card?

How to check their eligibility for Ayushman Card?

- First of all, go to the official website of Prime Minister Ayushman Bharat Scheme.
- After this, the option of “AM I Eligible” will appear on the homepage of the official website, click on this option. After clicking on the option a new window will open.
- After this, verify your mobile number with OTP for login under the eligible section.
- After login, check your family’s eligibility in Prime Minister Ayushman Bharat Scheme, after this, two options will appear. Select your state in the first option.
- After this, in the second option, you will get three categories, you can choose one of the categories by searching by name, your ration card and mobile number. After this click on the submit button.

How to apply for an Ayushman Card?
- To apply for the Ayushman Card online, first of all you have to open the Chrome browser on your mobile or computer.
- After the browser is opened, type www.beneficiary.nha.gov.in in the search box and then click on the search button.
- Select the ‘Beneficiary’ option given here and successfully verify the OTP by entering your mobile number.
- After this, you can search your family name here by selecting the option ‘Ration Card For Ayushman Card’. Now you have to enter the name and details of the person in whose name you want to make the card, after that an OTP will come on your mobile which has to be verified.
- Now a consent form will open on your screen, tick all the options and click on the ‘Allow’ button given on the right side.
- The names of the people for whom Ayushman cards will be made will be displayed in a blue box on the screen as beneficiaries.
- Select the option of e-KYC Aadhaar OTP below the box, now after Aadhaar verification, again click on the icon below Capture Photo on the right side of the page and click on the Proceed option after taking the photo.
- After this, carefully verify all the information given in the form and click on submit option.
- If more than 80 percent of the photo matches, an Ayushman card will appear in front of you. Click on the ‘OK’ button and you can download the Ayushman card.

- Verify OTP with mobile number on the home page of the application itself.
- See the list of district and tehsil and your village from your state,
- Find your family ID i.e. Family ID in the list,
- Do e-KYC of Ayushman card of all members,
- E KYC will be done through Aadhaar OTP verification, OTP will have to be entered twice.
- You can download the Ayushman card immediately after e-KYC by doing OTP verification.
- Once the Ayushman card is downloaded, save it in your mobile so that you can use it anytime, anywhere in future.
