Jawahar Kala Kendra’s prestigious annual event Junior Summer Program will start from May 16. This camp will be organized till June 20. Children of different age groups will give a new dimension to their creativity by participating in it. In the camp, training in various artistic styles will be provided by experts.
In the camp, children between 8 to 17 years will be able to learn singing, guitar, tabla, piano, violin, folk dance, Kathak, and contemporary dance. Online applications were invited for this, the selected participants will get training here.
The training program will run from 8 to 11 am from May 16 to June 17. Contemporary dance class will run from 4 to 6 pm. Drama art training classes will be held from 8 to 11 am from May 16 to June 20. Training in puppet making and operation will be given from 4 pm to 6 pm from May 30 to June 13. Candidates aged between 8 to 20 years are taking part in this.
Training will also be given in various genres related to visual arts and literature. From May 16 to June 7, children aged 8 to 17 years will be able to learn the tricks of mobile film making, photography, mosaic art, art of expression from 8 to 11 am. Whereas the classes of Calligraphy (Devanagari-English) and Creative Writing will continue from 3 pm to 6 pm.
