Intending to encourage this, Rajasthan university has given a chance to its students interested in learning European languages to pursue their dream.
Students of Rajasthan University can now get diversity in career opportunities with the exchange and language assistantship programme by Rajasthan university. The English Assistantship Programme offers seven months in France. For this, students need to score a minimum of 7.5 in IELTS and DELF.
European language courses boom at the University of Rajasthan
The economy of Jaipur is fuelled by jewelry export, textiles, handicrafts, the IT sector and tourism. The capital city is one of the fastest-growing cities and an international heritage place. With this, Jaipur has also become Rajasthan’s top destination for foreign language classes.
The department of European Languages, Literature and Cultural Studies of Rajasthan University is observing new heights in the exchange and language assistantship programmes with an increased number of students visiting France. Earlier students selected in 2020 were only three as compared to seven this year.
12 Students are all set to visit France
Twelve students from the French department of the Rajasthan university are all set to visit France. 7 under the English Assistantship Program ‘Assisteaux d’anglais’ conducted by the Ministry of Education, France, in association with the Embassy of France. While 5 under the Exchange Programme in collaboration with Jean Moulin, Lyon and Aix-Marseille, Marseille.
The English Assistantship Programme offers seven months in France. The eligibility criteria for the students is that they should be between the 20-25 age group with a score minimum of 7.5 in IELTS and DELF.
Students will have a memorable experience
Visiting France would be a memorable experience for the students. Some of them are traveling abroad away from their families for the first time while for some it would be the first time leaving Jaipur alone. But still, every one of them is delighted and expecting an experience to remember.
Upon successful completion, the French Ministry for National Education will certify these students for having French language skills. They will receive DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française) and DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) as well.
