The timings for Outpatient Department (OPD) for all government hospitals, dispensaries and nursing homes is going to change from October 1. The new OPD timings will be from 9 am to 3 pm; OPD will be for 2 hours on holidays.
From October 1, there will be a change in the time of seeing patients in all government hospitals, nursing homes, and dispensaries in Rajasthan. The administration has taken this decision in view of the beginning of the winter season.
After this decision, the OPD timings in the hospital will be from 9 am instead of 8 am. In SMS Hospital, Jaipur, doctors will see patients in OPD from 9 am to 3 pm on working days while the timings will be from 9 am to 11 am on government holidays and Sundays.
The hospital attached to SMS Medical College, including SMS Hospital, Jaipuria Hospital, satellite hospitals, Zanana Hospital, JK Lawn, Sanganeri Gate Mahila, Gangauri and Kavantiya hospitals will also have the same timings.
The District hospitals, community health centres (CHC) and primary health centres (PHC), the Rajasthan medical and health department has decided to change the timing of OPD. The OPD timings are changed every year at the onset of the winter season. This time will be till 31 March next year.
