‘Jago Jaipur, Jagmag Jaipur’ cleanliness drive by JMC Heritage

Cleaning of temples started on the theme of 'Jago Jaipur, Jagmag Jaipur' by JMC Heritage, started the campaign from Tadkeshwar Mahadev Temple.

A special cleaning campaign has been started by the Heritage Corporation under the theme ‘Jago Jaipur, Jagmag Jaipur’ to tackle the filth spread in the temples of the capital and its surrounding areas. The campaign has been started to make the Pran-Pratishtha Mahotsav of Ramlala to be held on January 22 in Ayodhya historic.

The campaign was started by Heritage Corporation Commissioner Abhishek Surana and Mayor Munesh Gurjar on Monday. Under the campaign, the Mayor Munesh Gurjar and Commissioner Abhishek Surana  reached Tadkeshwar Mahadev Temple at 8 in the morning and woke up the people for cleaning.

They cleaned the walls, floors and drains of the temple premises and surrounding areas for about 2 hours. Surana said that under the campaign, all the temples falling in the Heritage Corporation area will be cleaned. The Commissioner said that Jaipur will be made clean and beautiful with the help of trade federations, social and other organizations. 

After this, Jhabar Singh Kharra, the Urban Development and Housing Minister, actively engaged in a cleanliness initiative by sweeping the surroundings of Nahar ke Ganeshji temple and adjacent streets, accompanied by public representatives and corporation staff. Ravi Nayyar, a BJP leader, also participated in the campaign, focusing on cleaning the area around a gurudwara in Jawahar Nagar. 

Additionally, the JMC-H commissioner held meetings with chief sanitation inspectors and sanitation inspectors from various wards to address issues related to city cleanliness activities. It will be the responsibility of the CSI and SI of the concerned area to clean the temples. 

Many businessmen including Jaipur Trade Federation President Subhash Goyal were present on this occasion. On this occasion, Councilor Jitendra Lakhwani, Ravi Saini, Additional Commissioner Kartar Singh, Deputy Commissioner Noor Mohammad, Chief Health Officer Dr. Sonia along with CSI and SI were present.
