News

To control pollution in Jaipur, the Municipal Corporation is purchasing Heritage 100 CNG Hoppers (Vehicle) which will not only make the city clean but will also reduce the increasing pollution. The Municipal Corporation will provide special training to the driver and helper to operate the CNG hopper.

According to Balram Meena, garage branch incharge of Jaipur’s Municipal Corporation Heritage, “currently the Municipal Corporation was collecting garbage from door to door through diesel trucks. This is also causing a lot of pollution.”

With the aim of reducing the increasing pollution in future, Municipal Corporation Heritage will clean the city with CNG (gas powered) hoppers for the first time in the state. It has been decided to purchase 100 CNG Hoppers in the initial phase. Of these, 10 Hoppers have already reached the Municipal Corporation, the remaining Hoppers will also reach the Municipal Corporation very soon.

Giving training to drivers and helpers

All these Hoppers will soon be seen collecting garbage from the streets and houses of the city. In these hoppers, a total of four separate boxes have been made for collecting wet and dry waste as well as sanitary and domestic hazardous waste. Special training is being given to the driver and helper to run these. So that in future, along with making Jaipur clean and pollution free, it can also be protected from any kind of infection.

Hopper price also reduced

Apart from controlling pollution, CNG Hopper is also very economical as compared to diesel and petrol vehicles. Where the price of Diesel Hopper is Rs 7 lakh eight thousand. At the same time, CNG Hopper is available for Rs 6 lakh 41 thousand less by Rs 67 thousand.

The mileage of its companion CNG Hopper is much higher than the diesel Hopper. Maintenance is also very less. Which will also prove to be economical for the Municipal Corporation and the people of Jaipur.
