Adani to invest Rs 60,000 crore in Rajasthan

To promote industry and employment in Rajasthan, the ‘Invest Rajasthan Summit’ has started. In this summit, Gautam Adani announced an investment of 60 thousand crores in Rajasthan. Adani would help the state government open a medical college and hospital in two districts and also a cricket stadium in Udaipur.

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said that he would help the state government open a medical college and hospital in two districts and also a cricket stadium in Udaipur with an investment of Rs 60,000 crore.

Gautam Adani said that he was very happy to come to Invest Rajasthan. He said, “We have announced an investment of Rs 60,000 crore. After speaking with CM Ashok Gehlot, we are considering two proposals. Two medical colleges along with the civil hospital will be opened in Rajasthan in the districts where there are no medical colleges. I also talked to CM Ashok Gehlot and Assembly Speaker Dr CP Joshi about the cricket stadium in Udaipur. On behalf of the Adani Foundation and Adani Group, we will give full support to build that stadium.”

More than 3 thousand industrialist-businessmen of the world are participating in this two-day summit. Industrialists from all over the world reached this two-day event. Torrent Group Chairman Sudhir Mehta also announced the opening of the World Class Cricket Excellence Academy in Jaipur. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also invited Vedanta Resources Limited Chairman Anil Agarwal to set up a semiconductor chip industry in Rajasthan.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Industries Minister Shakuntala Rawat inaugurated the summit at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center in Sitapura. The government claims that more than 11 lakh people will get employment in the state if the investment proposal and MoU come on the ground. Investment proposals worth Rs 10.44 lakh crore have already been signed under the Investor Outreach Program ahead of the summit.
