On Monday, the Education Department issued the orders to announce summer holidays in schools of Rajasthan amid rising temperatures. Now the summer vacations starting from May 17 will start from May 11, 7 days before.
The scorching heat has broken all the records even in May. The scorching sun and heatwave have made everyday life miserable. Due to ever-increasing heat, the education department has also changed the timing of summer vacations to give relief to school children.
According to the order of the Education Department, from Wednesday, May 11, all government and private schools in the state will have a holiday till the end of the session. However, teachers have not been given leave. They will be on duty to handle the preparation work for the upcoming session along with preparing the exam results. Whereas the classes whose annual examinations are going on will continue as before.

The scorching heat has not only troubled the state but the whole country. School holidays have been declared in many states due to the scorching heat. Given this, now summer holidays have been declared in Rajasthan from May 11 to June 23. The decision will provide relief to school children from the heat.
The temperature has crossed 45 degrees in Rajasthan. According to the meteorological department, the havoc of the scorching heat will continue in the coming days as well. Due to this, the temperature of the state can increase by 2 to 3 degrees troubling the common man even more. The order of the Education Department will relieve small children from soaring temperatures.
