The summer schedule of flights will come into effect from the last Sunday of this month i.e. 31st March at all the airports across the country including Jaipur. Flight to Atodhya will not be operational after 31st March for two months.
The summer schedule is effective from the last Sunday of March. During this period, flight timings are changed at all airports in the country and the world. But this time in the summer schedule at Jaipur Airport, problems may increase for air passengers, because operation of air services to many cities will be stopped. Passengers will have to take connecting flights from Delhi or Mumbai.
At present, an average of 62 flights are operating daily from Jaipur International Airport to 22 cities of the country and 4 international cities.
Ayodhya flight started from 1st February, will stop within 2 months
Under this change, 7 flights will be stopped at Jaipur Airport also. Among these, there are some cities for which only one flight is running. In fact, currently only one flight is operating from Jaipur to Agra, Ayodhya, Jaisalmer and Guwahati. In such a situation, due to the closure of the only flight, travel to these cities will become difficult.
The flight to Ayodhya started from 1st February and will stop in just 2 months. After March 30, SpiceJet airline is not booking tickets for this flight to Ayodhya. There will also be a reduction in air connectivity for the cities of Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Pantnagar.
No flights to Bhubaneswar and Ranchi
There is no air connectivity from Jaipur to Bhubaneswar and Ranchi. Earlier, flights to Bhubaneswar used to operate three days a week from Jaipur. Which was closed by the airlines in the winter schedule. After which there was a demand to start it. But the airlines did not start it even in the summer schedule.
These 7 domestic flights will be closed in the summer schedule
- Flight SG-3421 departs from Jaipur to Ayodhya at 7:15 am.
- Flight SG-1077 leaves Jaipur for Ahmedabad at 8 am.
- Flight SG-216 leaves Jaipur for Chennai at 9:30 am.
- Flight 6E-7675 leaves Jaipur for Jaisalmer at 1:10 pm.
- Flight 6E-7675 leaves Jaipur for Jaisalmer at 1:10 pm.
- Flight SG-696 leaves Jaipur for Guwahati at 1:30 pm.
- Flight 6E-7723 departs from Jaipur to Agra at 1:55 pm.
- Flight 6E-5226 leaves Jaipur for Mumbai at 11:15 pm.
- At 1:45 pm, the trips of Pantnagar flight 6E-7705 will be reduced. These 2 international, 1 domestic flights will start
- Direct flights from Jaipur to Abu Dhabi will start from June 11.
- The flight will reach Jaipur from Abu Dhabi at 7:30 am.
- In return, it will reach Abu Dhabi from Jaipur at 11 am.
- Flight from Jaipur to Kuala Lumpur is proposed from 21st April.
