The government has made strict arrangements for the biggest exam of this year, REET to be held in Rajasthan. Strong security arrangements have been declared. Internet will be shut down on exam day, markets will not open in Jaipur.
The administration and the government do not want to leave any stone unturned for the conduct of the REET 2021 Exam. In this regard, elaborate preparations are being made to ensure there is no possibility of any paper leak or copying on the day of the examination. This exam will be conducted in two shifts from 10 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5 pm on 26 September.
University exams postponed
The Higher Education Department announced to postpone the University examinations from 25 to 27 September because of the REET examination.
Markets will be closed
The Jaipur Collector held a meeting with the traders to maintain the arrangements and control the crowd in the REET recruitment examination. The trade boards appealed to the traders to voluntarily keep the shops closed. Therefore, the markets will remain closed on the day of the REET exam on 26th September in Jaipur. The shops related to essential services like medical, grocery, vegetables and other necessities will be open.
A drone will monitor the market
Every small market of Jaipur to the main road will be monitored with videography with drone cameras. So that any kind of problem or incident on the day of examination can be known to the administration in time and it can also be resolved. If anyone is found doing nuisance, legal action will be taken against them and they will be disqualified in the examination.
Internet will be shut down
Discussion of closing the net is also going on and the official decision will be announced by the government soon. The administration will be able to decide on net shut down only after interpreting the directions of the court.
Mobiles ban in the examination center
Mobile phones will be completely banned in the center. If the collector or any other officers go to inspect, then they will also not be allowed to take the mobile to the center.
592 examination centers set up in Jaipur
A total of 592 examination centers have been set up for the examination in the Jaipur district. Out of these, there are 458 centers in Jaipur city while 134 exam centers are in rural areas. More than 2.50 lakh students will appear for the exam in Jaipur. Of these candidates, about 1.14 lakh candidates are residing in the Jaipur district, while more than 1.37 lakh are coming from other districts.
The city is divided into 24 clusters
Jaipur city is divided into 24 clusters to maintain order on the reet exam. The district administration is doing every effort for security from taking the candidates to the examination centers to their stay and food arrangements to keep a check on the copying gangs. Officers have been imposed and assigned the duty to provide the students with proper food arrangements, mobile toilets, tea and water arrangements and other arrangements including monitoring the public transport.
For food, Indira Rasoi will be set up in the city in different areas of these clusters to provide tea, water and food for the candidates and their families at low prices.
For stay, arrangements have been made in Dharamshala, Marriage Garden and Hostel at 110 places where the candidates who come 1 day before will be able to stay and reach the examination center easily.
For travel, the Jaipur district administration has arranged 1480 buses. Of them, 1100 are private buses and 380 are roadways buses which will run for three days from 24 to 27 September. Also, 5 new bus stands have been set up at the entry points temporarily to prevent the transport of buses from other districts to Jaipur city. The government has instructed the Transport Department not to charge any kind of bus fare from any student giving REET. The students have to carry their ID cards and admit cards with them on the bus. The private buses along with roadways will run round the clock for 24 hours. So that the candidate does not face any problem in reaching his destination.
Along with this, the Collector has appealed to the general public to cooperate in the REET examination by not coming out of the houses unnecessarily during the examination.
