Announcements in Budget: Bond of Rs 1 lakh to daughter born in a poor family, government job for 70 thousand, training for 20 thousand unemployed.

In the interim budget of the Bhajan Lal government, an attempt has been made to take care of every section of the society in view of the Lok Sabha elections. Finance Minister Diya Kumari has made bumper announcements for every section.

Now in Rajasthan, if a daughter is born in a poor family, the government will issue a savings bond of Rs 1 lakh in her name. 70 thousand jobs will be given to the youth. Keeping in view the employment opportunities in the tourism sector, for the first time 20 thousand youth will be given training. 

Cow rearers will get credit cards and pensioners will get the facility of home delivery of medicines. Along with increasing the old age pension of the elderly, it has been announced to give a 50% discount in road travel fare. Youth: Announcement of Employment and Yuva Saathi Centre

The youth had the highest expectations from the announcement of government recruitments, no recruitment has been done for a long time. Keeping this in mind, Bhajan Lal government has announced recruitment of 70 thousand posts for the youth in the interim budget.

Yuva Saathi Centers will be built for the youth at divisional headquarters at a cost of Rs 10 crore. Where youth can get counseling for a better career. 

Along with organizing job fairs and campus placements in each divisional headquarters, it has also been announced to run skill training programs.

Showing the commitment to time bound recruitment examinations, it has also been announced to release the annual calendar of RPSC and Staff Selection Board.

A good initiative has been taken to create job opportunities for unemployed youth. 20 thousand youth will be given guide hospitality training in the tourism and hospitality sector. This will be the first time when youth will be made skilled in this sector.

Woman: If a daughter is born in a poor family, a savings bond of Rs 1 lakh

It has been announced to launch the LADO incentive scheme for women. Under this, a savings bond of Rs 1 lakh will be given if a daughter is born in a poor family. This money will be released in the name of the girl child only.

Under Lakhpati Didi Yojana, the income of women from 5 lakh families will be increased by more than one lakh.

Under the PM Matru Vandan Yojana for pregnant women, it has been announced to increase the amount of Rs 5,000 received on first delivery to Rs 6500. The government will spend about Rs 90 crore on this.

It has also been announced to make one Anganwadi ideal at every block level in Rajasthan. Rs 20 crore will be spent on this.

Women help desks will be set up in police stations of the state, while CCTV cameras will be installed in Nari Niketan.

Farmers: Cheap loans to cattle herders through credit cards

Many announcements have also been made in the interim budget regarding farmers. Under the PM Samman Nidhi Yojana, now the farmers of the state will get Rs 8 thousand instead of Rs 6 thousand.

Chief Minister Jal Swavalamban Abhiyan 2.0 has been announced for farmers. Under this, 5 lakh water harvesting systems will be built in 20 thousand villages.

In the budget, the government has also announced the creation of a Gopal Credit Card for cattle herders. With this they will be able to get cheap loans up to Rs 1 lakh.

500 customized hiring centers will be built in Rajasthan. Farmers will be able to get agricultural tools at cheap rent at these centers.

Vermicompost, food park and horticulture hub will be built for 5000 farmers.

A provision of Rs 2 thousand crore has been made under Rajasthan Agriculture Infra Mission. In this, many works will be done including 20 thousand farm ponds for farmers, 10 thousand kilometer irrigation pipeline, fencing for 50 thousand farmers.

Under the Shri Anna Yojana, the government will also provide high quality seeds to the farmers.

Sports players: 50 will be ready for the next Olympics player

The government has announced Mission Olympics 2028, under which 50 talented youth will be prepared for the 2028 Olympic Games. For this, all world class facilities including training kits and courses will be provided to them.

Center of Excellence for Sports will be opened in Jaipur, on which a provision of Rs 100 crore will be made.

To encourage girls in sports, ‘Residential Girls Sports Institutes’ will be opened in Jaipur, Bharatpur and Udaipur. On which the government will spend an amount of Rs 25-25 crore.

Employees: Home delivery of medicines to pensioners

Before the Lok Sabha elections, the government has also made efforts to woo the employees. The biggest relief is that at present no changes have been made in the Old Pension Scheme.

To enable employees to get more opportunities for promotion, a relaxation of 2 years has been announced for DPC.

Home delivery of medicines will be done for employees and pensioners through Confed.

It has been announced to reinstate democracy fighter pension. Democracy Fighters Pension Act will be enacted. A bill will be brought for this.

Elderly: Pension increased, travel on roadways cheaper

Social security pension for the elderly has been increased from Rs 1000 to Rs 1150. A financial provision of Rs 1800 crore has been made for this.

Senior citizens aged between 60 to 80 years will now have to pay only half the fare in roadways buses. The discount has been increased from 30 to 50 percent.

Businessman-Laborer: Big relief in land tax, pension scheme for laborers

In the budget, two big announcements of relief have been made for laborers and businessmen. Chief Minister Vishwakarma Pension Scheme will be started for street vendors and laborers. In this, a monthly premium up to Rs 100 will have to be paid. After this, a pension of Rs 2000 will be given after 60 years. Also, big relief has been given to businessmen in land tax.

Land tax imposed on entrepreneurs and investors has been completely abolished in the budget. It has also been announced in the budget to waive off the remaining land tax for investors whose land tax is outstanding by depositing 10 percent of it.

It has also been announced to completely abolish market duty on sugar and jaggery. In such a situation, now sugar and jaggery will be available in the market for sale. This will increase the business of market traders. Market traders had been demanding removal of this tax for a long time.

To promote ease of doing business in the state, it has also been announced to simplify many processes and make them online. Besides, formation of Rajasthan Economy Revival Task Force has also been announced to give impetus to the economy of the state.

It has been announced to bring various types of amnesty schemes for entrepreneurs and businessmen in the state which will remain effective till 31 July 2024. In this, it has been announced in the budget to bring VAT amnesty, stamp duty amnesty, transport amnesty and energy amnesty scheme.
