Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur to become storage Centre for Covid Vaccine

Rajasthan is all prepared and waiting for the Corona vaccination. The main vaccine stores will be set up at Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur for storage of the vaccine sent by the Centre. The state government has defined that the first phase of the coronavirus vaccine will be launched in the state in 2021.

The vaccines from these state vaccine stores will be supplied to regional vaccines stores at divisional headquarters. From divisional headquarters, the vaccines will be sent to each district and then too cold chain points spread across the state. It has been decided to place the vaccine at 64000 vaccine centres and 19000 vaccinators have been fixed for this work.

At the same time, vaccine stores have been prepared at different temperature levels at which the vaccines will be kept. If the vaccine is kept in the range of 2 to 8 degrees, then this temperature in Rajasthan can hold 3 crore vials, and if it comes from minus 15 to minus 25 degree Celsius, then for this, stores with a capacity of 1 crore are prepared.

A three-tier committee has also been formed and is constantly working on effective policy making, implementation and monitoring of the vaccination process. The central government will also do online tracking for who will get the vaccine. The health department is collecting figures from private and government hospitals providing treatment for COVID

After vaccination, the complete record of the person receiving the vaccine will be with the government uploaded in COVIN software. Also, the people who got vaccinated will receive the message on their phones.

Chief Secretary Niranjan Arya is supervising the work at the government level and is associated with the centre. It is their responsibility to fulfil the guidelines issued from there at ground level.

Health secretary, Siddharth Mahajan is looking at all the work related to the medical field regarding vaccines such as how the vaccine will be placed and planted. Apart from this, all the District Collectors have also been given the responsibility of transportation, availability of vaccines and availability of the resources, execution of the vaccination process and handling all other situations related to it.
