Visitors will be able elephant safari at the Nahargarh Biological Park in Jaipur from November 10. The Nahargarh Biological Park is preparing to promote elephant safari and is ready to bring back the elephants for elephant safari. The timing of the park has also been changed from October 15.
According to a senior park official, Elephant safari will be available for two people at a time. There will be two slots. The booking price for the first slot will be Rs 1,500 for 10 minutes and the second slot price will be Rs 3,500 for 30 minutes. The park timing has also been changed from October 15 and will be enforced till March 14. The park will open at 9 am and will close at 5 pm.
The elephant safari is going to be the latest attractions for tourists in this popular park, which already houses a zoo and a lion safari. Hopefully, the elephant safari would attract more tourists, leading to an increase in footfall. The elephant safari is currently available at Amer Fort, said the park authorities.
Although the elephant safari had been mooted in the past as it was introduced in ‘off-season’. It didn’t attract many tourists and was shut down after 10 days.
Now, once the season starts, elephants will be brought once again and the Elephant Safari will start. Initially, an elephant will be kept here for 24 hours and their number will be increased if in demand.
The tourists can also enjoy lion safari after a temporary ban. It has now been relaunched at the park and the booking price for the lion safari is Rs 250 per person.
