Earthquake tremors in many cities of Rajasthan including Jaipur, Bharatpur, Alwar, Bhiwadi. These sudden shocks created panic, people came out of their offices and homes. These earthquake tremors were felt for about 30-40 seconds two times. The first shock was of 4.6 and the second was of 6.2 magnitude.
According to the report received from the weather center, the epicenter of the earthquake was the hilly area of Nepal, the time of which was 2:51 am and the intensity was 6.2 on the Richter scale. Its center was 5 kilometers inside the ground. This Nepal hill area is situated near Baskot.
Apart from the capital Jaipur, strong earthquake tremors were felt in North India. Its tremors were felt in many states including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Punjab and Himachal.
