41 feet Shiva idol made of junk at Shipra Path, Mansarovar in Jaipur

A 41 feet idol of Shiva weighing 7000 kg was installed at a fair at Mansarovar in Jaipur along with Shivling of 1200 kg; Trishul and Damru are also special.

On the occasion of Saawan month, a fair at Mansarovar, Jaipur has installed three unique statues prepared from junk. Jaipurites can get a chance to see such a big idol of Shiva of 7 thousand kg, Shivling of 1200 kg and a 31 feet high statue of Mahatma Gandhi made of junk at this fair. 

The specialty of this fair is that the Shiva statue installed here is 41 feet and weighs 7000 kg, which is also recorded in the India Book of Records. This fair is going on from 5th August to 17th August from 2 PM to 10 PM. The fair is held at Mansarovar VT Ground, Jaipur, right in front of Shipra Path Police Station. 

This statue has been brought in three trucks from Jodhpur. Apart from this, the Shivling of 10 feet of 1200 kg and the idol of Mahatma Gandhi of 31 feet is also special. Along with it, a 41-feet trishul and damru are also installed.

It took 1 year to make this idol. This idol has 6 parts. One has a complete head, 4 parts torso and one has a complete 41 feet trishul and damru. It took a total of 5 days to assemble its parts in Jaipur.

Entry gate like Hawa Mahal

To give a heritage look to the fair, its entry gate has been made like Jaipur’s famous tourist place Hawa Mahal. Its height has also been kept at 41 feet. It is decorated with different colored lights. This fair is set up in 5 thousand square meters. There are about 125 stalls in it. 

More than 40 types of swings for children and adults

More than 40 types of swings have been installed in this fair. There are many options for children and elders. Among these, many swings including Chand Tara, water boat, Columbus, break dance have become the center of entertainment and attraction.

There are more than 30 shops in the Food Zone,

where all kinds of products are available under one roof. At the same time, people are enjoying various types of dishes in the food zone. The food zone has arrangements for many delicious dishes including South Indian, Chinese fast food, chaat dumplings, namkeen, tea coffee.

Many stalls including furniture

A wide range of handicrafts is available in the handmade product fairs of different states of the country where Handicraft traders from all parts of India bring their products. Many attractive schemes have also been launched in the fair along with discounts.

There are many stalls including furniture, handloom, clothes, jewelry, furniture, kitchenware, artificial jewelry, perfume, crockery, clothes, fitness, computers, shoes, carpets, curtains, toys, mattresses, sofas, bed sheets, carpets, handloom of Panipat, terracotta and decorative items.
