The enforcement wing of Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has issued notices to encroachers asking them to remove settlements on the stretch between New Sanganer Road and Vande Mataram Marg within a week.

The road going from New Sanganer Road to Vande Mataram Road will be built as per the prescribed width. This sector road, about 2.5 km long, is built from Vande Mataram to St. Teresa School, about 1 km long and 50 feet wide. To increase its width, the JDA enforcement branch has given notice to 250 houses in 24 colonies.

After the removal of the encroachment, the JDA engineering wing will start the work soon. Earlier, the construction of the road was incomplete due to non-availability of land. During this period, JDA has also regulated 25 colonies.

Although JDA had already given notice for the widening of this road 5 years ago, no action was taken. With the construction of the road, the journey from Heera Path New Sanganer Road in PRN South to Vande Mataram will become easier.
