Now buying houses and land has become expensive in Jaipur. With the new financial year, residential and commercial DLC rates in Jaipur have increased by 10% from April 1. Due to increase in DLC rates, registration and stamp duty amount will also be higher. Stamp duty and registration fees will also be assessed as per the increased rates.
DLC rates were increased by 5% in the financial year 2023-24, while this time it has been increased by 10%. With this increased rate, now the highest DLC rate in C-Scheme and MI Road area will be between Rs 90 thousand to Rs 1.25 lakh and the lowest in Amer-Jal Mahal area will be between Rs 12 thousand to Rs 42 thousand.
Four Categories of DLC Rate
District-level committees (DLC) decide the rates to calculate the minimum price of properties, it is called DLC. Its 4 categories are residential, commercial, institutional and industrial. The DLC rate of any property is decided according to its location, market value and available facilities.

- DLC rates in Jagatpura, Model Town, Ganar Road, Indiragandhi Nagar area from Rs 16800 to Rs 19650.
- From Rs 16800 to Rs 70 thousand in Sadala, Nandpuri, Hawa Sadak, Shyam Nagar, Suez Farm area.
- Rs 48 thousand to Rs 65 thousand in Vaishali Nagar, Hanuman Nagar, Vidyut Nagar, Doctors Kalani, Chitrakoot area.
- 35 to 45 thousand in Jhotwara, Kalawad Road, Khatipura area.
- 38 thousand to 40 thousand in Balaji area of Murlipura, Dhehar.
- Rs 48 thousand to Rs 70 thousand in Ambabari, Naya Kheda, Vidyadhar Nagar.
- 12 thousand to 48 thousand in Mansarovar, Prithviraj Nagar area.
- Rs 9600 to Rs 61000 in Sanganer, Tak Road, Pratap Nagar area.
- 12 thousand to 42 thousand rupees in Amer Road, Jal Mahal area.
- Rates in Kala Niya of Agra Road range from Rs 6100 to Rs 9600.
Due to development of facilities, the rate of registration has increased and 40 percent of the total annual income of the Stamp Department is received from Jaipur alone. Jaipur has the best facilities of higher education, big hospitals and air connectivity in the state. Due to this, the market price of property is also high in most of the areas of the city like Jagatpura, Tank Road, Sanganer, Mansaravar, Ajmer Road, Jhotwara, Vaishali Nagar Murlipura, Sikar Road.
